Janet Jackson is a  Toronto-based beauty expert, celebrity hairstylist, and owner of JouJou Hair Studio. She has been in the industry for over 15 years, and has garnered recognition for her expertise in all hair types.

Jackson’s work has appeared in campaigns for Holt Renfrew, HBC, Nike, Reebok, Gold Series, Estée Lauder, Aveeno, and COVERGIRL; and top tier magazines including FASHION, ELLE, NUVO, HELLO, Pulp Magazine, S/ Magazine, The Kit, and more. She has regularly appeared as a Beauty Expert on CTV’s The Marilyn Denis Show, The Social, and City TV’s Cityline.

Jackson's expertise extends beyond her talent as a hair stylist, and she is recognized as an educator and advocate on the importance of celebrating all  hair textures. In 2021, Janet Jackson was named L’ORÉAL PARIS Canadian Hair Artist & Expert, a role in which she continues to grow and thrive. 

Throughout her career, Jackson has been awarded numerous accolades. Most recently she was named Hair Artist of the Year at Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards in 2022,  Stylist of the Year at the VZN Awards in 2022, and Session Hair Stylist of the Year at the Contessa Awards.
