Michelle Chubb, aka Indigenous Baddie, uses her social media platforms to educate others about navigating life as an Indigenous Canadian. With over 1 million supporters across several channels, she shares her culture while discussing the history of Canada’s relationship with Indigenous communities and tackling harmful stereotypes about the diaspora. As a mother of two, Michelle often encourages others to explore their heritage and find ways to pass down knowledge to younger generations.
Internationally recognized as a notable figure within her community, she has been featured in publications such as Teen Vogue, HuffPost, Refinery29 Canada, Pop Sugar, Fashion Canada and many more. In addition to giving an official Ted x Talk entitled “I Am The Walking Dream Of My Ancestors”, Michelle has been nominated for the L’Oreal Top 25 Women of Influence Award, and modelled in several campaigns for Sephora Canada, Bonlook, and Summersalt.
