Naomi Misu is an incredibly talented artist with an eye for vibrant colors and precise design. Beginning her career in Japan as a graphic artist, she later found the nail culture to be so fascinating she moved in this direction and took her art to another level.
Shortly after completing extensive training, Naomi joined the Tips Nail Bar team where she has built a large and very loyal clientele.
Naomi has a gift for intricate nail design and regularly collaborates with beauty brands for press events, ad campaigns and contributes to Canadian publications like FLARE, Glow, Dressed To Kill, The Globe and Mail and The Kit. She has worked with leading brands in the industry such as Quo by Orly, CoverGirl, Revlon, Sally Hansen, CND, Essense, KISS, Seche and Ceramic Glaze.
Naomi’s attention to detail and leadership skills have earned her the role as Lead Nail Artist for several Toronto Fashion Week shows. She has collaborated to create memorable looks for designers such as Greta Constantine, Steven Tai, VAWK and Jeremy Laing.
Naomi has the ability to adapt to any creative environment and brings a special energy to all her art as one of the most specialized nail artists in Canada.
